How can I rotate a PDF template for editing?

I'm trying to craft some signs on Avery labels. I have a template to use for spacing...but it is in portrait format, and I'd really rather work in landscape mode. When I switch the template from portrait to landscape, the markup lines (which I need) disappear. Any idea how to make this work?

Can you please share the template?

And tell us which version of Scribus you're using?

It's a little difficult to do directly, because I'm trying to do the job on my work computer, which is running the Windows version of Scribus 1.6.4--and company policy won't let me access the Scribus Forum. Right now I'm connecting from my personal Linux laptop on public Wi-fi.

Here are the Avery templates, though: https://www.avery.com/templates/61514 . The .pdf one is the only one that I could get to open in Scribus (although there may be a workaround which I'm not familiar with, yet), but when I try to rotate it into landscape mode I lose the guidelines.

Updating from 1.6.4 is possible, but...difficult. Corporate management does not like open source software, at all...but they won't spend the pennies for something commercial and equivalent, either. I had to get my division's Director to intervene and push through a ticket to get IT to install the 1.6.4 some months ago. Don't you just love corporate risk management?

I've opened the PDF provided by Avery on that page and used a free online tool to rotate it to the right.

I attach the result, opened with Scribus 1.7 and saved in a format suitable for Scribus 1.6.
