Want to Get Rid of PDF Text Field Borders

Hello everyone,

I'm new to Scribus and trying to create a form-fillable version of a character sheet for a tabletop game, and running into issues with borders. I have set the stroke colour setting for each PDF Text Field to "None", and when I print the file to PDF using Scribus the borders are not present, but when I Save to PDF and open the file in Adobe, each field has an ugly black border around it. Printing to PDF from Adobe also maintains the borders. How can I get rid of these?

when you print to a file as a pdf, then open it in acrobat how is that displayed?

When I try that, the file opens as a regular PDF, with neither the fillable sections nor the border boxes showing.

post a sample pdf here. I want to take a look at it.

Here it is, along with the Scribus file. I had to add them to .zip files since they were just too big to attach on their own.

There is a lil trick to doing this!  Double click the input field *, you should get a window that opens with the attributes for editing the box. :)

now for the weird part.. YMMV on this...

Once I edited one box they all became invisible.. which is a nice surprise as editing 106 of thise manually would be tedious

One additional note... i did  this in 1.7

*You can also single click the frame to select, the right click, in the popup menu look for PDF Properties, then Field Properties,

I just tested it and it worked! Thank you so much! Unfortunately only the one I edited changed, so I will have to do the others manually, but that is so much better than floundering around in the dark. Thanks again!
