print is off center
« on: December 04, 2017, 05:50:51 pm »

This is my first attempt at a Scribus document - 2 copies of a Christmas card - and it looks like everything is lined up nicely.  However when I print, everything is moved to the left approximately 1/16", so neither the logo on the "back" (after folding in half) nor the text & photo on the "front" are centered.  I tried this on two different computers/printers and the same thing happened on both.  What is wrong?

Computers are Windows Vista and Windows 8; printers are Xerox 5660 and Canon mp560, if it matters.

I was hoping to move to using Scribus instead of Adobe PageMaker, but not if I'll have to manually compensate for this issue in every file I make.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Simple solution: Do not print from Scribus.

Export to PDF and print from a PDF viewer instead.

The printing function of Scribus has never been really stable.
