Title: Can I add a template within the page template?
Post by: garthkh on December 10, 2012, 05:58:21 am
Hello.. I'm using Scribus 1.4.1 on a 64bit Suse 12.2 Linux platform. I am still fairly new to Scribus and wanting to put a brochure together. I'm pretty happy how the text and image frames work but I want to create a basic sub-template (if I can call it that) for a variety of advertisement placements within a page. For example there will be 16 placements of 5cmx7cm on a single A4 page. Each placement will have a text heading, a picture, another small image box and two more small text boxes below the picture.
If I can place all these 16 sub-templates on the page I could then fill each one in separately and they would all have the same size and layouts.
Is what I am wanting to do possible or is there another way of doing this?

Have a look at the scrapbook feature. (And of course the use of guides and styles.)
