PDF Generation / Re: formatting PDF fields not ...

I seem to be having a related issue - a different set of fonts is available in the Content Properties for PDF form fields than for text frames, and none of the base 14 fonts appear for PDF form fields.  I would be happy with the base 14 fonts.  Why are they not in the list of fonts in Content Properties for PDF form fields?  Is there some other set of properties I should be looking at?

is this scribus you installed from a snap package? If your something is very broken in it. That menu should be there. I would uninstall the version you have and use your system's software installer.

Right click on the image if you are on Linux or windows, ctrl click if you are on a mac. You will get a popup menu with options for the image frame. What you are looking for is in there.

I can't access preferences because the menu bar is missing.

edit: I temporarily manually added menu option from kde settings to be able to access preferences but that's still not quite what I want (It affects every application)

On a side is there to way to make the menu icons bigger? they're barely visible.

First post here. Intermediate experience with InDesign, but I'm not paying for that anymore so trying to learn Scribus.

Having a hard time finding some of the most basic commands. In particular, I'm trying to manipulate an image in an image frame. Specifically, I'm trying to do commands like " resize image to frame" and "center image in frame."

The problem is I can't find a way for the Image tab to pop up. Here's a screenshot of what's available when I have the image frame selected (with a png image already placed):

Your system is using a dark theme and scribus is set to using a light theme.
Open scribus' preferences and  in the  user interface, main window tab. select a dark theme icon set.

Solved... The only thing I haven't tried yesterday - well it was just after midnight here, is to restart my PC. So you might be right with the old config file, and instead of panicking I should have just reboot the computer... Aging not always goes together with wisdom...
Thanks and have a great day!
