Key F3 - show styles dialog - does not work in MSWindows (1.6.4)

Hi

If I hit the F3 button nothing happens. According to the 'Edit' menu the 'Styles...' dialog should show up. The place where styles are defined

If I right click on a text frame the 'content properties' box also has the F3 shortcut.

Is this a bug?

Hannes

Yes, this is a bug in some 1.6.x version of Scribus if I recall correct.

I remember seeing a changelog saying the bug was fixed.

it's F4 that should show the Style Manager.

you can change the shortcut in the File > Preferences.

Hi Ale

Thank you.
Setting the F4 key as a short cut for showing the 'Styles dialog' with "File > Preferences" worked fine.
Nermander said that he has seen in a change log that this has been fixed.
I did not see anything like this in
https://sourceforge.net/projects/scribus/files/scribus-svn/1.6.5.svn/readme.txt/download
(unreleased build version of two days ago).
Also not in
https://sourceforge.net/projects/scribus/files/scribus-svn/1.7.1.svn/readme.txt/download
An important shortcut and easy to fix.

Don't worry about that.

As far as I know, Scribus comes with F2 on the properties palette, F3 on the content palette and F4 on the Style Manager.

If all the current versions do that, then we're fine!
(And we have way more important things to focus on : - )

I think what I was referring to was this one (there is something about shortcut issues).

I do know that in some version I have been using either F2 or F3 does not work.
