Scribus 1.6.4 Setting Font and Font Size

Hi
Using 1.6.4

When trying to select font options I cannot locate on the F2 drop down and reference to 'Text'.  Is there a tool to include options into this drop down?  The text options will need to be added. Have looked on many places but I cannot locate a specific 1.6.4    written or video tutorial on the setting of fonts etc via the F2 drop down.  No mention of adding the text options to the drop down.

Iam sure it is easy to change fonts etc but at the moment I am not getting the correct icons or options to use.
Thankyou
Charles

Thanks   AdmFubar

Works great now I know what to look for.

In the colors & effects in the Contents Properties,  what does 'Registration'  mean?
I cannot get any colors other than black.  How do I get 'red'.  Cannot get the full palette to show up.

Thanks

Charles

In the Edit menu, look for Colors & Fills, in the window that opens, about midway down on the right is a drop down button, marked Scribus Basic. Click that and you should see a list of additional colors to add.Keep in mind you will merge the whole palette of colors, some are rather lengthy.

Registration is used for making registration marks when making 4 color separations so the plates line up in the printing process.

You can add and edit colors from this window as well.
