I'm done with a document that I created in Scribus (and it was a lot of fun!).
I've done it on a Mac, running Yosemite. I've printed my pdf on a small Samsung printer here at home, and it is ok. Here is my fear. I have to bring the file to work, and any typos or last minute corrections will be dome there. So I need to install Scribus and Ghoscript on a computer running Windows. And then open the file there and fix those last minutes things, then print it from there on yet a very different printer (big bubba Kyocera). Now, I do have all my fonts in a file, in a little directory I created (as instructed in tne fine Scribus manuan found online). I plan to bring all these files (with the fonts, the images, etc) along with the Scribus document. My fear is that I will encounter a font problem and the whole document will be screwed up and NO time to redo all that. What are the sound advice anyone can give me at this point to avoid such a last minute disaster at work, basically, how to insure a smooth transition from the Mac environnement to the PC environment ?
Thank you!
