[1.6.4]Text doesn't appear in text frame but does in text editing

Hi everyone,
I looked for an answer on the internet but couldn't find anything related to this specific case...

I started using Scribus a little time ago after taking an introduction course at uni. My first practice project is a gift: we plan on printing a single copy of a friend's book with extra illustrations.

Near the end of the book, I ran into an issue: the text frames are missing a huge chunk of text, nearly half a chapter, without any gap in the text flow. When checking the text editing window, I can see the text exists, it just got skipped for some reason. I was working on a previous version of Scribus, so I updated it to 1.6.4 and a bit of the missing text appeared, but not the whole thing.

Here's how the text frames look:

And here's the text in the text editor:

Additionaly, if I try adding characters after "Yes you did say that.", they do not show up in the text frame, but will appear in the text editor. The frames are properly linked together so I don't think it's a flow issue. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Thank you!

Hard to say something, without seeing the .sla file.

The only thing I can think of (on top of a bad bug), is that there is a (hidden) text frame in between.
If you activate "View > Text Frames > Show text chains" you will be able to visually check that the frames are indeed properly linked together.
