Inserting character removes all text
« on: March 15, 2013, 05:25:46 am »
Hi,

new user to Scribus. I'm having a problem with inserting the "$" character in the table text frames. As soon as i insert it, all my text inside the text frame disappears. However, it works just fine when i use the plain text frame. Is this a bug or is there some workaround?

TIA

Don't you have a $ sign on your keyboard?
Have you first consulted the Manual? You can probably find the solution there.

Yes i do ... but that's what i meant ... using the $ sign removes all text. Mind you, it only happens when i use tables ... normal text frame works ...

Well, it seems to be solved. I had to use the $ sign together with the shift key and it worked ... real strange but anyways ... it's solved
