Text flow around the frame- inactivated
« on: February 08, 2013, 03:58:18 pm »
Hi!
I'm trying to get acustomed to scribus, so now I'm playing around with text and images but I can't get the text to flow around the frame. I have wached a tuitorial on Youtube several times and I can't do it. It seems mine is locked on inactivated. I add a photo to show you. How can I solve this problem?

Do you speak German? There is a perfect cours in 23 lessons to understand Scribus. The price to participate is just 30€. If you are interested, please click on this link.

It is relatively complicated to explain it in a few words, but according to your screenshot, you are on a good way.
Have you first consulted the Manual? You can probably find the solution there.

you should select the image. then you set the text flow options (for example: 'use contour line', then you can edit the contour line…)
the text flow options only affect text frames below the image (on the same or on a lower layer…)
