What does 'rc' stand for?
« on: January 28, 2012, 08:59:24 pm »
Real stupid question, but I searched Scribus.net, the web, and no reference to what 'rc' stands for. Enlightened me please?

LOL, only Roman Catholic? But there is a lot more ;-) However, in case of Scribus and software in general, it's, of course, as Nermander said: "Release Candidate", i.e., a version of an application which is in final stages of testing and is almost ready to be marked as final. RC is what final, release version, will look like if no new serious bugs get discovered in the meantime.
