Horizontal scrollable area
« on: December 31, 2011, 09:56:43 am »
I create my book on a 1366 x 768 screen.

The horizontal scrollable are is -180mm to 180mm
The book is DIN-A5

When the horizontal scrollable area would be a little bit larger,
it would be possible to place the F2 properities box beside the 2 DIN-A5 pages.

When I could scroll 30mm more to the left or to the right, there would be enough place for the F2 box.

hi founder

you could increase the scratch space on the left and/or right of the displayed pages ('scribus' → 'preferences' → 'display' → 'scratch space')…

hope it helps

Thanks!

Just tried to increase scratch space left and right to 80mm. But it does not show up.
I even tried to exit Scribus and start again.

No change in the display, but when I go to preferences display scratch, my left and right 80mm shows up.

for the current document you have to change the size of the scratch space in the document settings instead of the preferences.
