Flatten Layers
« on: December 26, 2011, 11:55:01 am »
Haw do I flatten layers together to make it just one layer.

For example having placed a graphic, text and background together  in a layer box.

How to get them into one?

hi wena

i don't know a function like 'merge layers' in scribus.
you can select all the objects of one layer and put them on another one ('item' → 'send to layer' → your target layer name) and delete the empty layer.
there may be a faster way that i don't know...
i keep my .sla files as capable for editing as possible, so i usually keep my layers – and for the transfer of objects between layers it works well.
