A font jumps from outine to embed box
« on: August 18, 2019, 12:01:35 am »
Scribus 1.4.8 on Linux Ubuntu
I use 4 fonts
FreeSerif Regular
FreeSerif Italic
FreeSans Regular
FreeSans Bold

At PDF output, I have at all my new documents all of them in the outline box.
Just made a PDF, made small changes, made an other PDF.
The file size jumped from 1,8 to 4,2 MB.
I found, that FreeSerif Regular is suddenly in the embed box, arrows to move greyed disabled.
With some tricks, it was possible to bring FreeSerif Regular again to the Outline box, PDF again at 1,8 MB,
but again, FreeSerif Regular jumed in the embed box.

can you please make sure that the "outline" option in "file > preferences > fonts" is checked?

I do not see an outline option at "file > preferences > fonts"

it's probably subset then...

1.5 only does subsetting. 1.4 still outlines... they might be in the same option.
