I,m new into Scribus, and want to make a calendar. I tried to make a table, but cannot find out how to set the lines to be visible?

Thank you for interesting link. But this calendar is for 2011, I need one for 2012, also the language have to be changed, and the moon phases. It seems that I cannot edit the calendar.

you can edit it – but you have to detect the structure (i did it for you…)
the calendar is built in the three layers:
calendar (name of the month, dates, small grids of last and next month)
calendar image (picture frame, moon phases, special days)
background (table grid)
to edit the content, you have to switch to the right layer (f6 or 'windows' → 'layers')
the weekdays are in the master page.
