Can a script navigate through a set of linked text frames?
« on: June 15, 2015, 09:35:49 pm »
I've written a script that searches through a single text frame, but I need to use it on my book which has hundreds of pages. Is there a way for a script to navigate through a set of linked text frames? I've been studying the API and existing Scribus scripts, but I haven't found anything that looks like a workable solution. Thanks!

i don't think that from a script you can know the position on the page of a character. or in which frame of the linked set the character is.

but you should be able to search through the full text of a linked chain... iirc...
