Actually, I love my old Pagemaker 6.5,

but Windows 8 killed it.   :'(

Hi Ged,

Did Pagemaker 6.5 work on Windows 7? If not could you not dual boot your machine and put Windows XP on it? I know Microsoft no longer support XP but if you only need it to use certain programs and don't connect it to the net then perhaps that may be an option.

On the plus side you will find Scribus to be a really powerful layout tool once you get to grips with it. There are some guides on the wiki that can get you started.
