Title: Question regarding the hidden .scribus-file.
Post by: Hapax on March 07, 2013, 02:18:50 pm
The Scribus-manual says that Scribus' preferences are stored in a hidden file:

Windows: Documents and Settings/%username/.scribus

My problem is as follows. I went to file --> General --> Font Size (Menus) / Font Size (Palettes). I geared up both of these to font size 16pt. When I want to change this by opening the window again, the window is so large that I am not able to click the "OK" button below, and I am not able to resize the open window either.

So where within the .scribus-file do I habe to enter the desired size (9pt) of Menus and Palettes? It must be somewhere in the scribus13.rc-file - but where exactly?

hi hapax

search for:
APF="16"
and:
PFS="16"
and replace the values by "9" or "10" – you'll find both entries in the first couple of lines.

btw: if the file is 'scribus13.rc', you should update to scribus1.4.2…
