Title: big pdf (book) input
Post by: AbeFreeman on November 19, 2014, 03:09:03 pm
I've done a tutorial,  read the documentation,  and searched the forums,  but I can't seem to find the answer to this one:   I have a 286 page pdf that I want to import into scribus.   It seems like the only way to do this is to make 286 master pages,  insert the pdf into the first one,  copy that into each additional one (one at a time),  and then change the page number (again, one at a time) in the properties>image>page number  blank.    There must be an easier (and therefore less error prone) and less time-consuming way to do this, like the "link frame" option that you can use with imported text,  but isn't highlighted with imported images.    Can someone save me days of tedious labour by telling me the easy way to do this?
Thanks in advance

I doubt there is an easier way. Scribus is not designed to be a PDF editor.
