Title: Print output different from screen – how do you verify before final printing?
Post by: Jackson_Pearson on April 30, 2026, 10:14:31 PM
Hi everyone,

I've noticed that sometimes documents look perfect inside Scribus, but when printing or exporting to PDF, the output can be different (missing text, scaling issues, or layout shifts).

Before printing full documents, I've started doing a quick test print just to confirm everything looks correct. It helps avoid wasting paper and time when something is off in the final output.

For example, I usually run a simple test page first using something like to check alignment, colors, and margins before printing the actual file.

Just curious:

How do you verify your print output before final printing?
Do you rely more on PDF preview or actual test prints (https://myprinttest.com/)?
Would love to hear your workflow.

I've not had this issue. Do you have a sample file that you can attach here?
