Title: Establecer el comienzo de la numeración de páginas desde una página determinada.
Post by: Emilio on August 29, 2025, 12:36:45 AM
Buenas noches.
Antes pido disculpas porque no sabría dónde publicar esta consulta. ¿Cómo se podría establecer en Scribus dónde, en qué página, comenzar la numeración de páginas? Gracias.

In Scribus, there is no setting for showing the page number on one or more pages.

What you normally will do, is putting the page number "symbol" (Insert > Character > Page number) in a text frame on a master page.

If you create multiple master pages, you can apply the ones with a page number only to the pages where you want one to show up.

Once this is done, you can also control which number is on a specific page.
For this, you need to define sections in "File > Document Setup" and set the "Start" field to the first page number in that section (if it's not just the "number of the page", of course!).

hanks for answering, a.l.e.

(I'm using Google Translate)

If you're referring to this:

I don't know how to work with sections, and I haven't found a tutorial in Spanish. But I'm going to work on it.

Thanks.
