Title: Is there a way to disable the blue shading?
Post by: acli on March 20, 2025, 12:46:58 AM
Hello,

I just downloaded Scribus 1.6.3 and is currently trying to familiarize myself with it. I find that when I use the text tool to create a text frame, Scribus will draw, in addition to the frame itself, a nice blue shading inside the frame. When I resize the frame, it lags a lot.

I have a slow computer and I'm suspecting if I could disable the blue shading maybe there would be less lag. Does anyone know if there's a way to disable the blue shading? Thank you very much in advance!

What are your system specs? (Model, and amount of ram, and how old), plus the os.

(MrB) the blue shading he is talking about is simply the color in the text frame that scribus uses to make the frame more visible when sizing the text frame.
