Title: Footnotes: vertical alignment of footnotes
Post by: jirib on February 23, 2025, 04:45:03 PM
Hello,

do I understand correctly that to have a good vertical alignment of footnotes I should do the following?

- create a paragraph style for footes (linked to a Notes style)
- create left tab with eg. 3 mm
- create first line indent -3 mm
- create line indent -3 mm
- in the actual footnote, I should do <tab> right after <number><suffix>

? ? ?

And... how do I create a thin line separator between the text frame and the actual text frame with the footnotes (like LibreOffices does)?

have you seen "Edit > Notes styles"?

But I did not find a way to add a line separator in there...

I did but it is not really relevant to my comment here.

However, I think my first comment is solved; the solution for the latter one is unknown :/
