Title: What release for an old Mac High Sierra or Big Sur ?
Post by: veronique on February 23, 2025, 02:50:06 PM
Hello
I want to implement Scribus on one of my computers but I see that your current version needs OS12 ou more. Unfortunately I have old computers with OS 10.13.6 or OS 11.7.10.
Does Scribus work on them and which release ? And how can I find these versions of your web site?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Best regards

hi veronique

scribus1.4.8 (https://sourceforge.net/projects/scribus/files/scribus/1.4.8/scribus-1.4.8.dmg/download) (stable) and scribus 1.5.5 (https://sourceforge.net/projects/scribus/files/scribus-devel/1.5.5/scribus-1.5.5_1013.dmg/download) (development version) seem to be the latest versions for macos10.13.
i would recommend 1.5.5, but that's up to you...

just see now if I can recover fully my idml files. I do not find the gabarits and my pages seem in disorder.
