Hello,
Is there any way of adding a script so that it shows up the Scripter -> Scribus Scrips menu?
I have added a python script to my /usr/share/scribus/scripts dir but it isn't being seen, so that doesn't appear to be the correct approach.
Cheers,
Terry
Hmmm!?
I just tried that approach.... and it worked beautifully.
Have you checked that the permissions on the script are correct?

I checked permissions, and the script was set to "Allow executing file as program", which isn't set for the supplied scripts. All other permissions were the same as for supplied scripts.
I unset the 'Allow executing...' and restarted Scribus, but my script is still not seen.

My script (in /usr/share/scribus/scripts/) is now showing up in the 'Scripter -> Recent_Scripts' as '/usr/share/scribus/scripts/whatnot.py'.
What a curious thing...if it knows it is in the scripts dir why not show it in the 'Scripter->Scribus_Scripts' menu?
Cheers,
Terry
