Title: Buttons in UI too dark to see
Post by: aroback on January 26, 2024, 06:08:26 AM
Hi there. I teach a course in document design, and one of my students asked for help because her UI toolbar is too dark to see. I asked her to try switching themes in Preferences to no avail. Attaching screen capture that she sent me. Version 1.6.1 on MacOS. Thanks for any help you can provide, and thanks to all the devs out there for making such a great app!

hi aroback

with the dark theme your student should change the icon set in 'preferences' → 'user interface' → 'appearence' to 'scribus 1.5.1 dark'.

Thank you for the reply! The student was actually trying to get out of dark mode, but it was an OS setting, not a Scribus setting that was making the UI buttons unreadable. Thanks again though!
