Title: Newbie needs help
Post by: jasseltoff on July 05, 2014, 09:12:13 PM
After centuries with QXP I'm looking for an alternative. After a first short review I noticed that Scribus is in some areas more efficient than the overpriced QXP.
But one question really burns my bacon. Why doesn't Scibus offer an easy to use scroll down menu for fonts and all the related attributes like weight, size, spacing etc. Even small Apps like Bean comes with an "Inspector" covering those items. Is there possible an add-on available to close the hole? Thanks.

jasseltoff, have you tried using the "Text" tab of the "Properties" palette (F2). That has all of the usual font selection tools.

Or are you after something different? (I've never used QXP so I don't know how it does things.)
