Title: limited colors v.1.5.3
Post by: Guillaume on July 24, 2017, 10:40:02 PM
My just downloaded v.1.5.3 has only a dozen colors.  Is this true with everyone who has 1.5.3?

yes, you're supposed to create your own colors that match your wishes / visual identity. (edit > colors)

the few pre-defined colors are helpful for the first steps and tests, but then you should really load work with your colors or your swatches!

and, believe me, as soon as you have imported an svg, you won't complain anymore that scribus has too few colors!

This article https://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/How_to_create_your_own_colours should show you all you need to know about how to create your own colours or import them from a palette or another document. (It was written for 1.4.6 so there might be some changes for 1.5.3.)
