Title: Visibility of Zero Width Spaces
Post by: Ewac on August 30, 2021, 01:01:02 PM
Hello,
I am creating documents in the Khmer language, which does not space words (spaces are used as a form of punctuation). However, zero width spaces are used in between words in digital text processing. These zero width spaces work fine in Scribus, however I cannot see them, which makes editing very tricky. In Open Office those spaces are displayed along with other non-printing characters, but I can't see them in Scribus, even though I have already turned on View-Text Frames-Show Control Characters (which shows all other non-printing characters just fine).
Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Any help appreciated.

Screenshots show what I see in Open Office vs what it looks like in Scribus
