Title: What Open Source Software for Cover Design?
Post by: Fran_iii on May 09, 2023, 10:41:06 PM
OK, if I use Scribus for the book interior, what software should I consider for cover design?
Open Source is preferred.
Thanks for any help.

i use normally libreOffice writer, gimp and sometimes inkscape for the content and scribus for the layout.
in the case of the cover you may do without a text processor...

Inkscape or Scribus - use cmyk images, convert type to curves, do not forget bleed, crop marks and folding marks.
