Title: images
Post by: CarolynPMeyer on July 16, 2020, 05:00:25 AM
A few of the photos I downloaded to my Scribus file have in the bottom right corner a small rectangle with an exclamation mark in the center. It does not show up in the preview view. Is this something about which I need to be concerned?  Thank you.

that sign means that the images have a resolution that is lower than what scribus (or you in the preferences) asked as a minimum resolution.

the image might still print ok... depending on the type of images, the type of print and/or how much too low is the resolution.

you can check the actual dpi (or ppi) in the context menu > info or in the image properties in the palettes.
