Title: URL Link
Post by: MrsClaus on July 12, 2011, 05:08:32 PM
Is it possible to create a hotlink in scribus when creating a pdf document.  I want to create PDF ebook with hot links.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mary

On the toolbar, the last icon on the right, named "Insert Link Annotation". Click on it, then draw a rectangle over the word(s) you want to be a hyperlink. After that, double click on the rectangle will open a dialog where you set type of links etc.

More infos here (http://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Adding_Hyperlinks_to_your_Scribus_PDF_document).

What about URL link in the middle of a text frame?
I didn't find anything about a way to place a URL link on a group of words.

Is there a trick to do this?

You draw the link rectangle on top of the words.
