Title: how to convert .sla from scribus 1.6.1 ver to 1.5.5 ver
Post by: renato07 on January 12, 2024, 12:23:44 PM
Hi,
I know it is not possible, but I try...
Is it possible to save a file saved with the last version of scribus (1.6.1) in the previous version (1.5.5)?

thank you

Renato

... no but: you can try to open the .sla file with a text editor (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Text_editor) (that lets you directly edit the xml in the .sla file) and replace 1.6.1 by the version you have.

this will (currently!) work with one of the more recent 1.5.x version... maybe also with 1.5.5.

GREAT, that works.
I have the problem, because 1.6.1 is NOT stable, it crashes while trying to export to PDF
