Title: Gradient backgrounds in text frames
Post by: DaveC426913 on January 19, 2020, 08:30:47 PM
I have started to make a gradient for the background of a text frame.

I have added more stops than I need; I want to remove some.

As far as I can tell, there is no way of removing a stop.
No combination of mouse clicks or control keys, ESC, DEL or other will delete a stop.

Worse, they are literally there forever. If I disable the gradient completely by setting it to normal, and exit the program, then relaunch and come back to set the background to any gradient, I am stuck with these stops.

What am I missing?

hi dave

just drag the unused color stops to a position below the gradient frame and they are gone.

Ah!

Wasn't dragging them far enough.

Thank you!
