indeed, one gets easily used to what is shown.

but, i also agree that aligning to what inkscape and gimp do is probably a good idea.

admfubar, would you mind opening a ticket for this?

Hi, I'm not sure we discuss the same behavior. I'm using 1.6.4 and objects rotate counter clockwise as degrees increment. It is the same as in any CAD software I used so nothing unusual for me.
I checked it now with GIMP (2.10) and Inkscape (1.2) and it is as you describe. Apparently standards differ in different domains of software.

General Discussion / Footnotes revert to "default s...

My footnotes and the style I created for them works well (as long as I unweld them from the main text frame -  things keeps going haywire when they are welded).

However, the following day the style has reverted to some default version, every time. Is there any remedy? Thanks!

(I use 1.6.4)

Was rotating and object the other day, and noticed something (finally) about object rotation. I had always felt it was difficult to use, and noticed that the rotation is indicated backwards. while the 360/0 is at the top, degrees increment counter clockwise instead of clockwise. Had anyone else noted this?

eh eh, it's indeed a bit hidden.

the new color picker is still a work in progress (and nitramr is currently proposing a further improvement)

I have been testing 1.7 for a few weeks now and just want to say thank you for the awesome work!
It is (surprisingly) stable so far, I love the UI and notice that many things work better than in older versions!

Oh, I see! I didn't notice the three dots. Thank you!
