Title: Leading?
Post by: Ged on March 21, 2015, 03:05:41 AM
I sometimes use 'leading' to force a 'near-full page' of text to fill one whole page, or a slightly 'over-full page' of text to shrink back to one page.

So, where are the typography settings on Scribus? I assume that I select all the text on a page, then click something that brings up a box of 'typography' options.  Cant find.   ???  Any help please.

the properties palette (displayed through the "window" navigation entry) hides all the goodness you're looking for :-)

A new question about 'leading' please.

I have a number of linked text boxes.  However, when I change the line spacing in one, the change goes throughout the entire document.  Is it possible to adjust the leading on a small area of my text only?  Or do I have to make a separate un-linked text box and apply 'leading' to that on its own?

Found it!   8)  I created a new style with different line spacing.  Worked like a charm.
