Title: Script for bullet or number lists
Post by: leifjoha on January 24, 2021, 06:09:09 pm
I have for long time used bullets.py as script from: https://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Bullets_and_numbered_lists for making lists.
But now the script make error message. I have asked the support and the reason is, that from Scribus 1.5.6.0, Scribus must have Python 3 and the script bullets.py is in Python 2.
I am not(!) a trained user of Python!!
Where can I find a script in Python 3 for making lists (bullet or number) in Scribus (1.5.6.1)

With greetings
Leif J

Change:

From: except ImportError, err:
To: except ImportError as err:

From: print "xxxxxxxx ...."
To: print("xxxxxxxx ....")

From: unicode
To: str # Some of these str statements look unnecessary but I didn't dig further.

That got it working for me.

Note: It worked for me. Your mileage might vary.
