Title: Can't scrol beyond page 8(ish)
Post by: shewhorn on June 14, 2011, 02:22:16 AM
Hi,

I'm using Scribus 1.4.0 rc3 on OS X 10.6. I created a new file (single page layout) with 20 pages. I started dragging images on to each page and once I hit page 8, it wouldn't scroll down any further. It doesn't matter if I use the scroll bar or page navigation buttons at the bottom, it just won't go past page 8. If I add an additional page to the end of page 20 I sometimes get access to a few more pages but it's really flaky. Is this something others have experienced (I couldn't find any references to this issue) and if so is there a better workaround than what I'm currently doing?

Cheers, Joe

Just some more info... I've noticed that if I zoom out I can scroll to additional pages but as soon as I zoom in, I progressively lose access to the rest of the document. At 100% after adding an additional 32 pages (so 52 total) I can only get to page 18. When you press the "next page" button you can actually see the ruler on the left hand side scrolling, but the graphics don't update.

To be a little more specific, at this point the document is populated only with PNG images.

Cheers, Joe

D'oh.... okay, found the bug database. It's a known issue:
