Title: Add New color to existing doc?
Post by: laffin_boy on October 07, 2011, 07:37:12 AM
Hi,

I have both 1.3.3.14 and 1.4rc5 on my XP computer. I have an involved doc that I really don't want to do over but I need to darken a green and a brown. I added the needed colors to Scribus 1.3.3.14 so they're available for new docs but how can I add these new colors to an existing doc?

1. Create a new document containing those new/modified colors
2. In an existing document go to Edit > Colors, and then use "Import Colors" option to import colors from the document you created in step 1.

Thanks for your answer! I never would have figured that out by myself.

... i agree that the current way of doing is cumbersome... but how to do it differently?
