hi herry

scribus cannot open .docx or .odt files. but it can load them into text files.

you need to first create a text frame and you can then use "file > load" (or similar) to load the text content of an odt (or docx) into it.

hi ale
hi herrysusanto

this is the text import dialog! and if the path is correct and the text file is there, it should be listed...

Looks like you dont have the right type of file in that directory.  If you note the File of Type drop down, in the file dialog it lists the type of files it can import. docx isnt listed there. You may need to resave that file in a format scribus knows how to import. That drop down should have an All Files option you can use to see if the file is really there, check to make sure it is.
