Title: Question about Display Color Settings
Post by: WEBER_EPERNAY on May 22, 2022, 12:40:07 PM
Hello,

I'm new here and I'm french (sorry for my bad english !)
Using Scribus 1.5.8 on Arch Linux, I'm facing an little annoying problem. In edition mode, frames (text, images...) show a thin black border which is not visible in preview mode. I find this border too dark and try to change its color or its transparency, but in Settings > Display > Colors, all the buttons are greyed out (except Page Fill) – see attachment.

Can someone tell me if  it is normal or if something is buggy in my installation ? I've googled a long time, but did not found answers.

Thank's in advance !

Sébastien.

hi sébastien

open the 'preferences' without an open document and all the color settings will be accessible.

Those are visible in edit mode to show where the edge of the image is[/size], also shows the edges of the text frames as well Preview shows you what it looks like when printed.
