Title: Can a scribus shape not have border line?
Post by: TexAgg on August 11, 2016, 03:56:16 PM
I wish to create a white-stripe behind some text to increase readability. I would like to use an oval shape, but I keep running into the problem of a border on the shape. I can't figure out how to not have some type of line. Even a hairline adds a solid white line.

Any ideas?

How do you make a border line with no color?

Select the shape or frame, go to the Properties Palette, select the "Line Colour" property (looks like a brush) and select "None" from the list.

(If you have "Show Frames" checked in the "View" menu then you'll still see a border around image and text frames but they won't show on export or preview. Or just un-check that option.)
