I took a look and it seems many of the images there are not stored on the forum, but linked from external sites (you can see this if you try to quote the post).

But there is at least one "[attachment deleted by admin]".

Pictures for example work in this post

PDF Generation / Re: Pages have a white line

There are dozens of solutions for impositioning PDFs.

I've wanted to update my impositioning scripts to work with PDFs, but I have not found a drop in PDF replacement for pstops (but I have to confess it's been ages since I looked into it and I don't remember what the issues were).

PDF Generation / Re: Pages have a white line

After some more investigation, it appears that this is happening when attempting to imposition pages as spreads. It's a crying shame that Scribus can't do this, because there don't seem to be an reasonable open source solutions to do it afterwards. As more and more PDFs are for online consumption rather than physical printing, I think the arguments for this not being in Scribus become weaker.

I found a way, just double click on the image. you will notice a kind of cross symbol on the image and you can move it. Now I need only to find a way of how scale and rotate the image. This should also be possible according to the video I referred to b4.

Dear All,
I have seen on youtube a tutorial with the titel: "wrap text around images and shapes". The link in invidious is: Link to video.
Interesting in this video that one can move an image which is in a shape without moving the shape. The video itself is very confusing. This happens on 8 mins of video circa. Does someone have an idea of how to achieve this ?
thank you very much
Yours
Erik

No that's not it. I've never gone and removed images for that reason, only spam stuff. Why these are not showing or missing is unknown at this point

I see... well, perhaps the Showcase subforum can be spared from this scrubbing in the future? There doesn't exist a single example of work in it that I can find.  :(

your OS hasn't got any updates for the last four years:

you should not connect it to the internet.

this having been said, scribus-1.6.1.dmg should run on your computer.
you can get it from:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/scribus/files/scribus/1.6.1/
