Title: Toolbar invisible
Post by: gtwibell on January 17, 2021, 05:27:46 PM
I have just installed Scribus Version 1.5.6.1. Revision: 24251 on my 27" iMac running macOS Big Sur 11.1 and with AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2 GB graphics.

I have searched hereabouts already but can find no reference. Simply put the upper Toolbar is invisible when creating a new file or opening for example a PDF. It seems to be present as hovering over where it should be brings up a few commands, but cannot see any buttons or icons.

Any suggestions most gratefully received.

To add a little more informatiion, the same issue is present in Scribus 1.5.5 but not 1.5.4 which (from my limited knowledge in such matters) uses the MacOS Quartz graphical environment?

Try changing the theme. File/Preferences , User interface, Main Window tab, Look for the Theme button. Try another theme and see if that makes the interface more visible

Great suggestion. Thank you. I'll give that a try tomorrow and let you know the outcome.
