Title: How can i auto-align text + box?
Post by: maxwell777 on November 22, 2011, 02:37:59 PM
I need to create a layout for many "cards" as seen in attachment. problem is that i do not know how to auto-align the white boxes with teh blue boxes - all of teh white boxes have different size as they have different amount of text within them. Also, i do not know how to let the size of teh white box "grow" with the text and still keep it all vertically alligned...

any idea of how this can be done?

there is a script in the wiki which you should be able to adapt...

wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Adjust_a_text_frame_to_fit_its_content

just ask if you need help...

without a script, you can manually fit the text frame and then use  "windows > align and distribute" to center the frames to each other
