Title: Type leading
Post by: Tony B on December 10, 2016, 06:50:44 PM
Just started with Scribus 1.4.1 on a iMac OSX 10.12.1 while being a long term user of Quark Xpress. Need to produce a template set up for someone who does not have QX and so I have suggested Scribus which is unfamiliar to me. Have not found if leading can be adjusted which I need in the template. Can it be done and have I just not found it despite some long time looking.

hi tony

you can define a fixed or automatic linespacing or align the text to the baseline grid (as a part of the paragraph style or by direct formatting in the frame...)
...but there's no function to automatically stretch the spacing to fit the frame hight.

Hi utnik

thanks very much that should enable me to sort it. Trouble is as a QX user I expect to find identical functions although I know they won't be!
