dear sir/madam

please refer to

https://github.com/aoloe/scribus-manual-development/blob/master/content/getting-started/getting-started.md

for getting and compiling the current scribus source code.

or click on "source archives" on https://www.scribus.net/downloads/unstable-branch/ (which is what you were asking for, but it's not the best way to get the source code)

you're welcome.

but there is no such a thing as a scribus-api...
can you describe what you are trying to do?
maybe it's just called in a different way....
(or we call it in a different way)

We are trying to compile code.

In Compiling it gives error as Link File scribus-api.lib does not open.

Please guide.

Thanks

on which platform (linux? os x? windows?)

i fear it's windows... i cannot directly help you.

if it's the case:
- go first for linux, if you can.
- if you stick to windows, please give details about what you already have tried and how you are compiling scribus
- the how-to i've linked in this thread does not cover (yet), but with your help we can complete it!
