Title: Best image format

Hi!
When I insert an image in a document I use svg format. Is it the best choice? This for have a little output file. Thank you.

svg is a good format... but i cannot tell if it's the format you should use.

it depends on the image... and the way you are going to print it.

I can agree with a.l.e. that svg is a good format, but I would add that it also depends whether or not the image artwork is vector or bitmap.  If vector, I would import as a vector file for the smallest file size.  If bitmap, I would suggest a compressed .tif, .jpg, or .png with quality settings adjusted for what type of printer/press the document will be printed on.
