Title: Picture frames in master page don't work
Post by: dvn on March 19, 2013, 05:55:40 PM
I want to make masterpages with picture frames in it to gave always the same picture size and position...
But when I use those masterpages I can't use the picture frames. I only see black crosses which can't be selected.
In the edit menu from the master page the picture frame are recognized as picture frames.
What did I do wrong...

You are misunderstanding how Master Pages work.

Master Pages are a background to the page.

What you want to do is probably best solved by creating an image frame and sending it to the scrapbook. When inserting from the scrapbook to a page it will have the same location.

Using guides and snap to guides works well too.

I had the same problem, but one member gave a very useful tip, that solved it.

Select the page that you want to use as model for the other, then go to  'page' ➞ 'copy' ➞ set the number of copies and where they have to be placed.  You can also import a page from other file.

This way all the frames will work.
